1. What is the difference between a folding scooter and a travel scooter?
A Travel scooter is any model made to be transported easily without additional devices such as a vehicle carrier. Folding scooters are a travel scooter but usually refers to models which fold into a single smaller piece that may be lifted as one part and in some cases may also be rolled like luggage.

2. What is the lightest travel scooter?
There are two types of travel scooters, Folding models which are usually lifted as one part and the lightest of these, Gypsy, is 33 lbs and Disassembled models which have a heaviest part of 29 lbs. Disassembly and reassembly take less than 30 seconds.

3. Can travel scooters be carried on airplanes?
Check the battery type of your model to see if they are Lithium or Sealed Lead-Acid(SLA). Airlines usually have no limitations on SLA Batteries. Lithium Batteries often have a limitation on the Amperage allowed. Check with your airline for specific requirements.

4. How do travel scooters perform on grass?
Most travel scooters work on any firm, low ground such as grass or gravel paths. Check the ground clearance of your scooter to determine limitations. Note that these models will not be as stable as heavier duty scooters.
